Our Club

Formed in 1985, Splash is a thriving teaching club, owned and run by Vicky Sands. With around 350 members aged from birth to 14 years old. Children join the club at all ages and abilities. They are grouped by ability rather than age.

About Vicky:

Vicky is the club’s owner and main teacher. Vicky has advanced ASA qualifications, and is a fellow of the Institute of Swimming Teachers, with over 30 years of experience teaching babies, children and adults.

Vicky believes in a hands on approach spending many hours in the water with the children each week.

Other club teachers:

All Splash Swimming Club teachers are fully qualified to ASA standard and DBS checked.

We also employ a number of experienced assistants to maximise attention for our pupils and their safety at all times.
